The trip started out lovely...
and soon there were chains required!
He was sooo excited to finally be getting his Bug, the weather didn't even phase him =o)
And of course, my best friend in the world, who proved his awesomeness by coming along so I wouldn't have to drive back.
Here's the new baby! A 73 VW Beetle! Isn't she a beauty? We (or I guess I should say I =o) named her Bobbi.
Her previous owener was a sport and posed with Sophia for me.The ride home was an event. It snowed most of the way (thank you so much V. you're my hero for driving!) and the Bug had no wipers. Wish I could have gotten a picture of J. with his arm out the window wiping the snow off the window. We made it home thought and he's been working on her ever since. He's so happy and thus so am I =o)
